Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to bring energy and ideas to this role. Sitting within the People Operations team, the HR Advisor will collaborate with business leaders and kaimahi to build on the employee experience. You will provide professional and pragmatic generalist advice, coaching and assistance across a broad range of HR matters. The integrated service model we use contributes to support an agile and innovative culture through effectively case managing HR matters to deliver quality. This role requires a strong understanding of all HR processes, as well as employment law and regulations. You will become a key member of the People Operations team, providing advice on all day-to-day operational HR matters.
 
Ideally you will hold a Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management and have at least two years of generalist HR experience. Crucial to success in this role is building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and kaimahi.
 
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and influencing skills; attention to detail and ability to organise their workload effectively; a proactive way of dealing with issues; the capacity to work under pressure; and previous experience of providing a People Operations administrative service. You should also be willing to participate in cultural activities and motivated to develop an understanding of āhuatanga Māori values, culture and tikanga.
